A review of the Horror Game on Psychedelics, The Evil Within 2
Horror fans greatly enjoy an
interactive horror video game. Rather than watching a horror movie, players can feel like the main character. You get the chance to the protagonist shooting zombies, fighting ghosts as well as discover terrifying worlds.
This is the reason for the popularity of the Evil Within video game for players and horror connoisseurs. Gamers can be Sebastian Castellanos as they fight off disfigured creatures that you will only find in your nightmares.
The popularity if the first Evil Within game has led to the creation of Evil Within 2. This game is perfect for people who love old-school horror films and fans of the first game. This is why you should join Sebastian on his nightmarish quest.
Story
This story picks up several years after Evil Within 1 ends. Sebastian is still mourning the loss of his family while experiencing turmoil over his battle in the hellish world. But Sebastian decides to enter his worst dreams for a chance to keep his daughter from the Union.
The second set is characterized by more action and adventure and thus the difference it has from the first edition. The first game was more isolated and very structured while the second game has a lot more freedom. You have the option of wandering around and exploring the world, talk and interact with more characters as well as engage in various optional events.
There are multiple surprising features of the game. For instance, there is a large map that shows you where you are and where you need to be going. The the map includes off-the-beaten paths that you are encouraged to visit those sites. You will find the most valuable resources in these unmarked areas.
As the game advances, everything changes from being cosy and familiar. The union eventually descends into chaos and the world that Sebastian knows turns on him, creating a nightmare where he can't escape. The Union turns into a more bigger nightmare by taking the world you thought you knew and transcended it into something else.
The terror form playing this game may feel like, and
LSD and may make you feel like taking a
Rapid Detect Inc urine test after the game.
Sebastian Castellanos
In the first game, Sebastian struggled and it was his first time entering the Union and didn't know to handle this nightmare world. In the secong game, Sebastian is more hardened as he has been to the Union and expected to fight a ghost or monster. In this game, he also shows confidence in strange ways such as developing a sense of humor and being able to handle problems with ease, rather than being weary that he was in the first game. But he has one goal in mind: to rescue his daughter and this is what keeps him grounded.
The villains
Sebastian is not alone in his quest to save his daughter. He has a myriad of villains who give him an additional problem. These antagonists you will come across include the following
Stefano Valenti- he doesn't seem like a bad guy as he dresses very well but is one of the evilest characters in the game. He is the one after kidnapping Sebastian's daughter for her power.
Anima is a strange ghost haunting Union's street.
In the first Evil Within, Ruben Victoriano or Ruvik was the primary antagonist but his presence in the second game is limited.
This the creature was once Ruvik's sister but later turned into a multi-limbed creature. She was a prominent monster in the first game but quickly dies in the second game.
